FRESNO, Calif. — Xobee Networks, a Fresno-based computer and network consulting firm is partnering with the Fresno Grizzlies baseball team and the Healthy Marriage Coalition of Fresno/Madera County to present “Celebrate Marriage Night” at tomorrow night’s Grizzlies game at Chukchansi Park.
In honor of married couples throughout Fresno, Xobee Networks will present another show-stopping installment of Friday Night Fireworks immediately following the game. All couples, especially married ones, are encouraged to make this game a “date night” and join in the festivities.
Friday also marks the Grizzlies’ stretch run of the 2009 season, as the first of an eight-game home stand. When the Grizzlies return to downtown Fresno this Friday to host Reno, they will do so with one of the most highly touted San Francisco Giants prospects in recent memory. Catcher Buster Posey, promoted to Triple-A last week, will make his eagerly anticipated Chukchansi Park debut tomorrow.
“As one of the largest technology consulting firms in the Central Valley, Xobee believes in being an active part of our community,” said Eric Rawn, Xobee’s President and CEO. “Being able to give something back to our community while making a statement of support for healthy marriages and healthy workplaces here in Fresno is very important to us. We look forward to seeing as many couples and families as possible at the game and enjoying some great baseball and fireworks!”
