Xobee Website Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Last updated: 10/08/2026

This policy explains what information Xobee Networks, Inc. (“Xobee,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit xobee.com or interact with us through the site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Our address is 7589 N. Wilson Ave., #103, Fresno, CA 93711.

This policy covers our website, the forms on it, and the marketing emails and text messages we send as a result. It does not cover the data we handle for customers when we deliver managed IT, security, or communications services. That information is governed by each customer’s service agreement.

By using the site, you agree to the practices described here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, request a quote, sign up for email or text updates, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and business address. We also keep anything you choose to write in a message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type and identifiers, operating system, the pages you view, the date, time and length of your visits, and the page that referred you. This includes data from cookies and similar tools described in Section 3.

Approximate location. We infer a general location (city or region) from your IP address. We do not collect precise location data.

Inferences. Our advertising and analytics partners may build interest and behavior profiles from your activity on our site and others to show you more relevant ads.

What we don’t collect. We don’t ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or biometric data through this site. Please don’t send them to us through web forms.

Sensitive information. If you create an account on the site, your login and password are sensitive personal information under California law. We use them only to run your account.

Where we get it. We collect personal information directly from you (for example, forms you fill out and preferences you give us), indirectly from you (by observing your activity on the site), and automatically through cookies and similar tools that we or our service providers place on your device. We also receive information from service providers, such as analytics and advertising vendors.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, web beacons (tiny images that count page views and email opens), tags, and scripts. A cookie is a small file your browser stores. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

You can choose which non-essential cookies we use through the cookie banner and the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working. Some advertising tools use techniques that browser settings don’t block, so use the opt-out tools in Section 6 as well.

For more detail, see our Cookie Policy at https://www.cookieyes.com/privacy-policy/.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Run, secure, and improve the site, manage accounts, and monitor how it is used
  • Respond to your questions and requests, including quote and demo requests
  • Contact you by email, phone, or text about our services, security updates, and your requestsSend news, offers, and information about services similar to ones you’ve asked about, unless you opt out.
  • Show you advertising, including on other sites, and measure how well it works
  • Analyze trends and the results of our marketing campaigns
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and debug the site to find and fix errors
  • Meet legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and carry out internal administration and auditing
  • Evaluate or carry out a merger, sale, financing, or similar business transaction

5. How we share information, including sales and sharing for advertising

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers that host the site, run analytics, send email and text messages, and help us advertise and contact you. They may use the information only to do work for us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Google and Meta, through cookies and tags on our site.
  • Affiliates, meaning our parent company and companies under common control, who must follow this policy.
  • Business partners, when we offer you a product, service, or promotion together.
  • Authorities and other parties, when we believe disclosure is needed to follow the law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights, property or safety, or investigate wrongdoing.
  • A buyer or investor, if Xobee is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • Anyone else, with your consent.

Sales and sharing for advertising. We don’t sell your information for money. But under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws in other states, letting advertising and analytics partners collect data through cookies on our site can count as a “sale” or as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the past 12 months, we have made these categories available that way: identifiers (such as IP address and online identifiers), customer records information (such as name, email, and phone number you submit in a form), and internet or network activity (such as pages viewed). You can opt out at any time. See Section 6.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.

Contracts with recipients. When we disclose personal information to a service provider or other recipient for a business purpose, we sign a contract that describes the purpose. It requires the recipient to keep the information confidential and not use it for anything except performing that contract.

6. Your opt-out choices

Your Privacy Choices link. Every page of our site has a “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer. Use it to turn off advertising and analytics cookies and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Opt-outs are specific to each browser and device, and clearing your cookies can reset them, so you may need to repeat the process.

Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser, and for your account or profile if we can link it.

Do Not Track. Our site does not respond to older Do Not Track browser signals, because there is no common standard for them. We do respond to GPC.

Advertising opt-outs. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at:

On a phone. You can use “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS) or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” (Android).

Marketing emails and texts. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text. You can also contact us using the details in Section 12.

Limiting sensitive information. We use sensitive personal information (account login details) only to provide the account you asked for, so there is nothing further to limit.

7. Your privacy rights under the CCPA/CPRA and other state laws

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives California residents the rights below. A growing number of other states give their residents similar rights. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights over your personal information:

  • Know and access: Ask what categories of information we collect, where it comes from, why we use it, who we share it with, and get a copy of the specific information we hold about you, in a format you can easily take to another company where the law allows.
  • Delete: Ask us to delete the information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, completing a transaction, security, or legal obligations).
  • Correct: Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Opt out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising, and profiling. See Section 6.
  • Limit sensitive information: Ask us to limit use of sensitive personal information.
  • Appeal: If we deny your request, you can appeal our decision by replying to our response or contacting us at the details in Section 12. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.
  • No retaliation: We won’t deny you service, charge different prices, or give you a lower level of service for using these rights.

How to make a request. Use the contact options in Section 12. We will ask for enough information to verify that you are the person the data is about. You can also have an authorized agent submit a request for you, and we may ask for proof of their authority. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days with notice. There is no charge for requests. We will cover the 12 months before your request, unless you ask for longer and the law allows it.

California Shine the Light. California residents with an established business relationship with us may ask once a year for information about our sharing of personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. Contact us using the details in Section 12.

California minors. California residents under 18 who are registered users can ask us to remove content they have posted publicly. Contact us with the email address tied to the account. The law may not allow removal in every case.
