How does it work?

Watch the livestream and chat with your colleagues during the event
Earn cash prizes for placing in the top 3 spots each month
Compete for a spot in the end-of-year final showdown for a grand prize
Event will be hosted during a Xobee lunch and will take less than one hour
How do I sign up?

Join the Teams meeting on the scheduled date and time to watch the stream, or just join on your phone to participate!*
An invite will be sent containing the website address and code needed to participate
*Joining the meeting is optional – You can fully participate with just your phone but you will rely on on-screen prompts instead of hearing questions read aloud.

Each month, three champions will be crowned and will receive cash prizes!
The first place winner of each month will earn a spot into the end-of-year final trivia showdown where they will compete against prior months’ winners. Find out who comes out on top as the trivia champion!

How long will the Trivia Showdown last?
The Trivia Showdown is designed to last one hour.
How can I participate in the Trivia Showdown?
To participate, please complete the form below to RSVP. Note that completing the form does not obligate you to attend; it simply helps us compile an accurate list of potential participants. Without submitting your name through the form, you will not receive an invitation to the event via Microsoft Teams.
What are the questions about?
Our trivia questions cover a wide range of themes, including pop culture, space, consumer products, and more. However, all themes are related to the general technology industry.
How long will I have to answer questions?
Typically, participants are given 10 seconds to answer each question after it has been read. Depending on the complexity of the question and the possible answers, this time may be extended.
How do I join the Trivia Showdown?
The Trivia Showdown takes place monthly during one of our company lunch events. You can join us in person at the office or remotely via Microsoft Teams. A meeting invite will be sent to those who have completed the RSVP form below.
What are the prizes for the Trivia Showdown?
Prizes are awarded to the top three participants each month: $250 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place. The monthly 1st place winners also secure a spot in the end-of-year final showdown for the grand prize.
Will this be recorded?
Yes, the Trivia Showdown will be recorded. By participating, you consent to being recorded.
Can I win multiple times?
Participants can win multiple times. Repeat 1st place winners can claim the cash prize each month. However, a participant can only secure their spot in the end-of-year finale once. If a repeat winner places 1st again, the next highest-ranking participant will be awarded the spot in the finale provided they haven’t already secured their spot.
How does scoring work?
Scoring is based on the accuracy and speed of your answers. If multiple participants answer a question correctly, the faster answers will receive more points.
