Under Eric’s 30+ years of leadership, Xobee has achieved record revenue growth and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America by both Inc. Magazine and Lead 411. Additionally, Eric has been featured in many articles and has received numerous awards including Business Street’s “40 Under 40” for his exceptional leadership in the technology industry.
Eric was co-founder of Addicted.com, a web portal for recovering addicts. Through this philanthropy work, Eric helped start one of the most state-of-the-art treatment portals helping those afflicted with addictions ranging from Food to Work to Drugs to Technology and everything in-between.
Eric was instrumental in the founding of Electronic Recyclers International, Inc. (electronicrecyclers.com), the largest electronic waste recycler in the United States with more than 12+ locations throughout America. Through his leadership and insight, Eric helped bring the most innovative technology solutions to the recycling industry through custom application design for tracking and secure waste disposal.
In 2015, Eric created a property management company, 44 Rentals, where he quickly built a portfolio of dozens of single family homes, apartment complexes, Airbnb’s and commercial properties throughout the Central Valley. His company now provides full service management utilizing state-of-the-art technology to bring housing opportunities to the community
Fun Fact:
As Eric’s passion for the community experience expanded over the years, Eric created and started publishing the Bass Lake Newspaper in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, near Yosemite National Park. It was just a small idea that could be used to share all of the wonderful things happening near and around the area. As he went deeper into the stories and articles, he realized that there was such a rich amount of history and amazing people located right there in the heart of California’s Central Valley. Through the publications, he seeks to spotlight those people, groups, experiences and events that make the southern gateway to Yosemite National Park a special and unique place to enjoy with all of friends and family alike.
Eric has a degree in Business Administration – Information Technology from California State University, Fresno and as an Alumnus, has participated on the Sid Craig School of Business Internship Advisory Board, presented entrepreneur speeches in the Alice Peters Auditorium, has been asked to judge Elevator Pitch Competitions in the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and sat on the Business Advisory Council at California State University, Fresno.
Since his graduation from Fresno State University, Eric has continued to support his alumni as an ambassador to their Technology Services Program. Through this prestigious honor, Eric has helped Fresno State University further its mission of educating and empowering its students; supercharging their success into the future.
Eric has participated in the Fresno Mayor’s Technology Affinity group, which focuses on bringing innovative, state-of-the-art technology businesses and jobs to the Central Valley.
In addition, Eric has also sat on the board of the International Green Industry Hall of Fame (gogreenhall.org) which recognizes individuals and organizations for excellence and outstanding achievements in the green industry. Previously, Eric was also a board member of the Healthy Marriage Coalition of Fresno County (growyourmarriage.com).
Throughout most of his life, Eric was actively involved in Scouting and obtained the Eagle Scout Award (the highest Scouting Award available) in 1994. Eric was elected as a Board of Director onto the Gerald Rawn Scholarship Foundation and currently provides leadership in the ongoing creation of scholarships for fellow Scouts in Troop 436 of Hollister, California.
Eric has five beautiful children: Katelyn, Chloe, Nathan, Noah, and Cade who all enjoy wearing company polo shirts and dreaming about owning their own business one day.
