Eric Rawn is Founder and President of Xobee Networks, Inc., a premier computer technology company headquartered in Fresno, CA. Xobee has become one of California’s most advanced network consulting firms, servicing more than 2,500 clients with offices in Fresno, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Portland. Xobee provides technology solutions and support for every type of organization and maintains 24/7 monitoring in our state-of-the-art network control center for data and voice communications.
Under Eric’s 19 years of leadership, Xobee has achieved record revenue growth and has been recognized as a fastest growing company in the United States by both Inc. Magazine and Lead 411. Additionally, Eric has been featured in many articles and has received numerous awards including Business Street’s “40 Under 40” for his exceptional leadership in the technology industry.
With his innate business sense and entrepreneurial spirit, Eric further expanded his company by creating Xobee Communications, a telecommunications provider of state-of-the-art IP-based phone systems. In 2012, an innovative idea lead to the launch of Bulldog Chairs (www.bulldogchairs.com), an exclusive, custom designed, executive chair company bearing the Fresno State University logo. Eric was also co-founder of Addicted.com, a web portal for recovering addicts and instrumental in the founding of Electronic Recyclers International, Inc. (www.electronicrecyclers.com), the largest electronic waste recycler in the United States with now more than 9 locations throughout America.
Eric has a degree in Business Administration – Information Technology from California State University, Fresno and as an Alumnus, has participated on the Sid Craig School of Business Internship Advisory Board, presented entrepreneur speeches in the Alice Peters Auditorium, has been asked to judge Elevator Pitch Competitions in the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and sat on the Business Advisory Council at California Statue University, Fresno.
Eric participates in Mayor Ashley Swearengin’s Technology Affinity group, which focuses on bringing innovative, state-of-the-art technology businesses and jobs to the Central Valley. In addition, Eric currently sits on the board of the International Green Industry Hall of Fame (www.gogreenhall.org) which recognizes individuals and organizations for excellence and outstanding achievements in the green industry. Previously, Eric was also a board member of the Healthy Marriage Coalition of Fresno County (www.growyourmarriage.com).
Throughout most of his life, Eric was actively involved in Scouting and obtained the Eagle Scout Award (the highest Scouting Award available) in 1994. Eric was elected as a Board of Director onto the Gerald Rawn Scholarship Foundation and currently provides leadership in the ongoing creation of scholarships for fellow Scouts in Troop 436 of Hollister, California.
